Admission Guidelines

1. Every student seeking admission to the school must obtain the school prospectus containing an admission form that must be duty filled in legibly by the student.

2. Admission to SSC I & II shall be done strictly on merit.

3. Students are required to fill their admission forms strictly according to their certificates 10th DMC, failing which school will not be responsible for spelling mistakes in their particulars.

4. Married candidates are debarred from seeking admission to the school as well as the hostel.

(i) Character certificate duly attested by the Head of the Institution last attended

(ii) Certificates of Merit for meritorious performance in games and co-curricular activities from the head of the Institution.

5. A migration fee of PSEB Rs. 1500/- will be charged from a student migrating from Boards other than P.S.E.B., Mohali But she has to produce original migration certificate from the last attended Board within one month after declaration of her lower class result.

6. Failed and compartment candidates from other schools will not be admitted.

7. No student is given admission without a personal interview with the Principal. The candidates will be interviewed on the days fixed for admission between 9:00A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

8. Since the number of seats allotted to each class is restricted, admission will be closed as soon as the required number is completed. Late admission will be permitted only if seats are available.

9. Parents are requested to submit their photograph, specimen signature, alongwith self-certified address and phone number at the time of admission.

10. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any student without assigning any reason.

11. (i) Post Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Class Students :

(a) Eligible SC/OBC students may apply online for “Under Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme” on the website of Welfare Department of Punjab Govt. within due dates notified by the Punjab Govt. / Welfare Department of Punjab for every session separately, failing which school authorities will not be responsible for the lapse on the part of students. (b) After applying online for scholarship, students are advised to deposit/submit a hard copy of the application form along with required documents in the school office as notified by the Punjab Govt. within the due dates.

(c) (i) Student’s bank account is compulsory

(ii) Linking of the Aadhar Card with the bank account

(iii) Email I.D. of the student

 (ii) Post Matric Scholarship to Minority Students:

(d) Eligible Minority students may apply online for this benefit on the website of Welfare Department of Punjab Govt. within due dates notified by the Punjab Govt./ Welfare Department of Punjab for every session separately, failing which school authorities will not be responsible for the lapse on the part of students.

(e) After applying for scholarship, students are advised to deposit/submit 3 hard copies each in clear file along with the application form and required documents in the school office as notified by the Punjab Govt. within the due dates.

Notes: Charge may change as per Punjab School Education Board’s Instructions.

Eligibility

A student seeking admission to Senior Secondary I examination of Punjab School education Board or any other Board recognized as equivalent thereto.

Documents Required for Admission

Students who have passed Matric/ SSC-I from Boards other than Punjab School Education Board should produce the following documents at the time of admission to SSC-I/II.

(i) Migration certificate from the concerned Board

(ii) Original certificate of the last Board Examination passed with detailed marks card

(iii) Students getting migrated during the academy session or after passing Matric. SSC-I should produce the migration certificate i.e. T.C. duly attested by D.E.O. / Concerned officer of the Board at the time of admission to SSC-I & II. Students migrating in mid-session should bring the record of their attendance from the institutions they attended last & late admission approval from the Chairman, PSEB, Mohali

(iv) Certificate of the lower examination recognized as equivalent to that of the P.S.E.B. / Equivalency certificate (To be issued by the academic branch of the Board on the basis of original certificates).

(v) Two Recent Passport size attested photograph.

(vi) Aadhar Card   (vii) Vaccination Certificate     (viii) Voter Card (for age 19 & above)

Students seeking migration from other State Boards after the fixed admission schedule must get permission from the Director, P.S.E.B. on a prescribed proforma.

Special Attention: All the parents of admitted students are required to submit all the above said documents on or before the date given by the school office, failing which the school will not be responsible for any lapse.
